Average power during a class is one thing. The profile, peaks and recoveries during a particular ride influence our physical response in different ways. Therefore, we need power parameters that reflect this variation, even when you know your threshold numbers.
During the course of weekly training, it’s essential to understand and choose the appropriate training volume for the best benefits and, of course, to avoid overtraining.
